Your Bible Verse of The Day

Standing Firm in Faith

“Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced.

Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do His will.

And I know that I will not be put to shame.”

~ Isaiah 50:7

Thought of the Day

Life can be challenging, and there are times when we may feel like giving up or giving in. But in Isaiah 50:7, it says that the Lord God helps those who are faithful and that we should not be afraid or discouraged because He is with us.

This means that even when we face difficult situations, we can trust in God's strength and guidance to help us stand firm in our faith. We can have faith that God is always with us, offering us His love and support, and helping us to overcome even the toughest of challenges.

When we face difficulties, it's important to remember that we are not alone. God is always with us, helping us to face our fears and to overcome the obstacles that stand in our way.

So let us take comfort in the knowledge that God is our helper and our strength, and let us continue to trust in His love and guidance, even when the path ahead seems uncertain or unclear.

May you find the strength and courage to stand firm in your faith, and may you always remember that God is with you, helping you to overcome every obstacle and challenge that comes your way.

Prayer

Dear Lord,

We are grateful for your help and guidance in our lives. We know that with you by our side, we need not fear or be ashamed. You are our strength and our shield, and we trust in your unfailing love.

As we set our faces like stones, determined to do your will, we pray for your continued guidance and direction. Give us the courage to follow your path, even when it is difficult or unpopular.

We know that as we seek to do your will, we will not be put to shame. You are the one who vindicates us, and we trust in your justice and righteousness.

May we continue to look to you for strength and guidance, knowing that you are the Sovereign Lord who is with us always.

In Jesus' name, we pray,

Amen.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another
—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25"
