Mother Mary's Message of the Day

The Grace of God Will Sustain You Through Any Trial or Tribulation

Have you ever experienced a moment in your life where everything seems to be falling apart, and you feel lost and alone? Perhaps it was the loss of a loved one, a difficult diagnosis, financial struggles, or a crisis of faith. In those moments of trial and tribulation, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed and hopeless.

But the message of Mother Mary is clear: the grace of God will sustain you through any trial or tribulation. No matter what you are going through, God is with you always, guiding you with his love and grace.

It can be hard to trust in God's plan when we are facing difficulty and pain. But as Mother Mary reminds us, God is working for our good in all things, and we can trust in his wisdom and love. Through prayer, we can find strength and guidance, and through forgiveness, we can find healing and peace.

In the midst of suffering, it can be hard to imagine experiencing joy. But joy is not the absence of suffering; rather, it is the ability to find meaning and purpose in the midst of it. By offering our suffering to God, we become co-workers with him in his redemptive work, and we allow his grace to flow through us to others who are in need.

So if you are facing a trial or tribulation in your life, know that you are not alone. Mother Mary is always with you, interceding for you and guiding you with her love. Trust in the grace of God, and know that he will sustain you through even the darkest moments of your life.

Trusting in God's Plan

Trusting in God's plan is often easier said than done. It requires a deep level of surrender and faith to trust that God is working all things for our good, even when we cannot see it in the moment. However, it is an essential aspect of our spiritual journey, particularly during times of trial and tribulation.

Trusting in God's plan means recognizing that we are not in control of everything in our lives. It means acknowledging that God's ways are higher than our ways, and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We may not always understand why we are going through certain struggles, but we can trust that God has a purpose for our suffering and that he is using it for our ultimate good.

One of the most powerful examples of trusting in God's plan is found in the life of Jesus himself. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed to his Father, “Not my will, but yours be done.” He knew that he was about to face unimaginable suffering and death, but he trusted in God's plan and surrendered himself completely to his Father's will.

Trusting in God's plan does not mean that we must blindly accept everything that happens in our lives. It is natural to question and struggle with difficult circumstances. However, it means that we ultimately choose to surrender our will to God's will and trust in his goodness and faithfulness.

The process of trusting in God's plan is not always easy or comfortable. It can require a significant amount of patience, perseverance, and faith. But the rewards of trusting in God's plan are immeasurable. When we surrender ourselves to God, we experience a sense of peace and freedom that transcends our circumstances. We are able to find purpose and meaning in even the most difficult situations, and we are able to draw closer to God in the process.

As Mother Mary reminds us, the grace of God is always present, sustaining us through any trial or tribulation. When we trust in God's plan, we open ourselves up to receive his grace and allow it to work in our lives. Trusting in God's plan is a journey that requires us to rely on God's strength and wisdom, but it is a journey that ultimately leads us to a deeper and more intimate relationship with our Creator.

Finding Strength in Prayer

Finding strength in prayer is a powerful way to tap into the grace of God during times of trial and tribulation. Prayer allows us to connect with God and draw upon his strength, wisdom, and peace. It is a way to communicate with God, to pour out our hearts to him, and to ask for his help and guidance.

During times of trial and tribulation, prayer can be especially important. It is natural to feel overwhelmed or helpless when faced with difficult circumstances, but prayer can provide a sense of peace and comfort that transcends our circumstances. By turning to God in prayer, we invite his grace and power into our lives, and we open ourselves up to receive his help and guidance.

Prayer also helps us to remember that we are not alone in our struggles. When we pray, we are reminded of God's presence with us and his love for us. We are reminded that we are part of a community of believers who are all working together to support and encourage one another.

The power of prayer is evident throughout the Bible. Jesus himself frequently withdrew to pray, and he taught his disciples to pray as well. The Apostle Paul also wrote about the importance of prayer, encouraging believers to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).

When we pray, we are not just asking God for help; we are also aligning ourselves with his will and his purposes. We are inviting him to work in our lives and to use our circumstances for his glory. We may not always receive the answer we are looking for, but we can trust that God is working all things for our good.

Choosing Joy in the Midst of Suffering

Choosing joy in the midst of suffering is a powerful way to experience the grace of God during times of trial and tribulation. It is natural to experience sadness, grief, and pain when faced with difficult circumstances, but joy is not dependent on our circumstances. Joy is a state of being that comes from a deep connection with God, and it can be experienced even in the midst of suffering.

Choosing joy requires a shift in perspective. Instead of focusing on our difficulties, we choose to focus on the goodness of God and the blessings in our lives. We choose to look for opportunities to serve and to bless others, even when we ourselves are in need. By choosing joy, we demonstrate our trust in God's goodness and our confidence in his ability to sustain us through any trial or tribulation.

The Apostle Paul wrote extensively about the importance of choosing joy in the midst of suffering. Despite facing imprisonment, beatings, and other forms of persecution, Paul wrote, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). He recognized that joy is not dependent on our circumstances, but rather on our relationship with God.

Choosing joy also requires us to surrender our control and trust in God's plan for our lives. We may not always understand why we are facing difficult circumstances, but we can trust that God is working all things for our good. As we choose joy, we demonstrate our faith in God's sovereignty and our willingness to follow his lead, even when it is difficult.

The power of choosing joy in the midst of suffering is evident in the lives of many Christians throughout history. For example, Corrie ten Boom, a Holocaust survivor, chose to focus on God's goodness and to serve others even while enduring great suffering. She wrote, “Happiness isn't something that depends on our surroundings…it's something we make inside ourselves.”

When we choose joy in the midst of suffering, we open ourselves up to experience the grace of God in a new and profound way. Joy enables us to experience a deep sense of peace, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. It also helps us to see our trials and tribulations from a new perspective, recognizing that God is using them for our good and his glory.

Offering Your Suffering to God

When we offer our suffering to God, we acknowledge that he is the ultimate source of comfort and strength. We recognize that we cannot overcome our difficulties on our own and that we need God's grace to sustain us. By offering our suffering to God, we demonstrate our trust in him and our willingness to follow his lead, even when it is difficult.

Offering our suffering to God also enables us to unite our struggles with the sufferings of Christ. Jesus himself experienced great suffering and pain, and by offering our suffering to him, we can participate in his redemptive work. As St. Paul wrote, “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church” (Colossians 1:24).

When we offer our suffering to God, we also open ourselves up to receive his grace and blessings. Our suffering can become a source of transformation and growth, as we learn to rely more fully on God and to trust in his goodness. As St. Paul wrote, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

In addition, offering our suffering to God can also be a source of inspiration and comfort to others. When we share our struggles and offer them to God, we can encourage others who may be going through similar difficulties. Our suffering can become a testimony to the power of God's grace and the strength that comes from trusting in him.

One example of offering suffering to God is the life of St. Therese of Lisieux. Despite suffering from tuberculosis and facing many challenges in her life, she embraced her suffering and offered it to God as a way of participating in his redemptive work. She wrote, “I understood that every flower created by Him is beautiful, that the brilliance of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not lessen the perfume of the violet or the sweet simplicity of the daisy. I understood that if all the lowly flowers wished to be roses, nature would lose its loveliness. And so it is in the world of souls, which is the garden of Jesus.”

In Conclusion

The grace of God is a powerful force that can sustain us through any trial or tribulation we may face in life. Trusting in God's plan, finding strength in prayer, embracing the power of forgiveness, choosing joy

in the midst of suffering, and offering our suffering to God are all ways we can tap into the grace of God and experience his presence and comfort in our lives. While trials and tribulations may be difficult, we can find hope and solace in the knowledge that God is with us and that his grace is sufficient to see us through. As the apostle Paul wrote, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). May we all learn to trust in God's grace and find strength and peace in the midst of life's challenges.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another
—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25"
