He existed before the creation of everything. You are important to the Creator. The God who made the heavens, the earth, and everything that lives on it is marvelous. You are loved by everything, including the microscopic, the physical, and all other kinds of life. He is always available to assist His people anytime they call Him and is concerned about our advancement.
The events of the Bible demonstrate how frequently God has provided for His people. God provided in times of need—even during the Israelites' slavery in Egypt. When Moses begged God to identify Himself, God said, “I Am Who I Am.” Moses was employed by The Great I Am to set the Israelites free from their 430-year captivity in Egypt. What a kind and gentle God He is!
The Global Tribulation
“These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” – John 16:33 (NKJV).
Jesus forewarned His followers about the difficulties they would experience in life. Christian principles and secular values are in constant opposition. or the lack of values in the world. This makes it challenging to lead a moral life without sacrificing integrity. But don't worry; Christ triumphed over the world, and you will too.
Jesus was followed by a sizable crowd as He made His way to Golgotha, and women wept for Him.
“But Jesus turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and your children. For if they do these things in the greenwood, what will be done in the dry?” – Luke 23:28,30 (NKJV). Once more, Jesus sounds a warning about the hostility of the world towards believers. As Christians, we should be prepared to handle such enmity from the world.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed that God would protect us from the evil one rather than take us out of this world. His prayer solidifies our predestination to live in this troubled world. However, He has promised that we will triumph just as He did.
Where do we go for help?
A problem is only half solved when it is shared. Who do you talk to about your problems?
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” – Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV).
Whom we should share our troubles with is specified in the Bible. Not everyone has a right to know about your issues. Some people just serve to worsen the situation. You will become discouraged if you seek advise from or confide in people from this world. Because they too experience issues.
Turn to Christ as a Christian. Because only He makes the pledge to hold us close in His arms. We might be inclined to vent to our friends, but there is no assurance that they will be able to help. Hope can only be found in Christ, who gave his life on the cross for us in order to atone for our sins. He endured a humiliating and torturous death on the cross so that we might be rescued. What a wonderful act of love!
Childhood lessons
We learn as children to rely heavily on our parents. They take care of all of our needs without grumbling. We end up loving them for their provision and caring. In fact, when we were little, we thought that the only authority possible was our parents'. We owe them because we relied on them to take care of our needs for a significant portion of our youth. Nothing could be beyond their control, we thought.
How much more so with our heavenly father if this was our bond with our earthly parents? Jesus explained to His followers how we relate to God.
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” – Mathew 7:11 (NKJV).
God asks us to place our troubles on Him, just as kids do with their parents. Put your trust in the One who, in light of His glorious riches, is able to accomplish far and above all that we ask or think. The Lord Jesus used children as an example while He was with His followers.
“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become like little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven” – Matthew 18:3 (NKJV).
Man will let you down, but God never will
A man is not God. His methods differ from ours. He will carry your weight as though it were His own when you lay it on Him. God keeps His promises, in contrast to humanity who will say one thing and do another. He is nearer than you might imagine. He is merely a phone call away, therefore give Him control of your life.
How often have your buddies let you down? They informed you that they needed to take care of their difficulties first because you were undoubtedly expecting them to assist you. Don't be upset with them because they put themselves before you because they are only human.
What does God say about trusting in men? “Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord” – Jeremiah 17:5 (NKJV). God wants us to solely trust and look up to Him for help, not elsewhere.
What next for people who trust God?
The Bible tells us about the fate of such people. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord” – Jeremiah 17:7 (NKJV). Prophet Jeremiah explains further that such people shall be like a tree planted by the waters. They will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will they cease from yielding fruit.
In conclusion, you will live a worry-free life because your hope and trust are in the Lord. When you trust in Him completely, your future is sure because unlike men, He will not fail you. “Trust in the Lord will all your heart, and lean not on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” – Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV).
